What are Lactation Products? 

The Jessie Bakes Lactation Products are a range of hand blended Biscuit Mixes, baked to order Lactation Biscuits and Lactation Brownies also. The ingredients of all products are recognised as "Galactagogues". Galactagogues are defined as "substances that improve milk supply". The Mixes come packaged and ready for you to simply add water and coconut oil too, then bake and enjoy. All baked to order products come straight to your door, freshly baked and ready to eat. All lactation Products aim to support your Milk Supply, whilst keeping you full and nourished during your Breast Feeding journey. 

 

ARE THE PRODUCTS VEGAN?

Yes! The full ingredients list can be found on each product page and on the product's label itself. All products are completely plant based and suitable for Vegans. 

 

 

ARE THE PRODUCTS GLUTEN FREE?

 

No. The Biscuit Mixes contain Oats and therefore Gluten. The Biscuits and Brownies contain both Oats and Flour. 

Gluten free options are in the pipe line though. 

 

 

Is the Ginger Mixture a Lactation aid?

 

No. The Ginger Biscuit Mix is a mix designed to fill you up in pregnancy and hopefully help with the pesky morning sickness due to the mixes ginger content. You can still consume this mix whilst Breast Feeding also, it is safe to do so. 

 

 

HOW DO I SOTRE THE MIX / BISCUITS? 

 

The mixes come in a sealed packet which can be stored in a cool dry place until you come to bake. Once baked the Biscuits should be stored in an air tight container for 3-5 days. The baked to order products are baked within 48 ours of order, delivered within 12 hours of baking and should be consumed within 5 days. 

 

IS THERE A USE BY DATE?

 

Yes. the Pack of dry ingredients needs to be used up within 6 months of purchase.  

 

 

WHO SHOULDN'T EAT THE lactation products? 

Anyone with either a Gluten or Yeast allergy which are the two main allergens recognised. If you are aware of any other Allergy please check the ingredients label carefully and accordingly. The ingredients list / nutritional information and Allergen information can be found on each product page. 

 

 

WHAT KIND OF ENVIRONMENT ARE THE products MADE IN?

 

All products made within a Kitchen that holds a 5* Food Hygiene rating. Jessie holds a Food Hygiene Certificate and operates within HACCP principles. Jessie Bakes remains registered with Flintshire Council and holds valid Business Insurance also.  

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER BISCUITS AND BROWNIES TOO?

Made to order biscuits can be delivered anywhere in the uk & will be posted via first class delivery within 12 hours of baking. 

WHERE CAN MUFFINS / CELEBRATION CAKES BE DELIVERED TOO?

Any trays of Muffins or Celebration / Bundt Cakes can be delivered within the Jessie Bakes locality; for an additional £5. This covered CH1 / CH2 / CH3 / CH4 / CH5 / CH6 & CH7 postcodes. Pick up from CH5 can be arranged for free. If you live a little bit further than the postcodes specified and want delivery then please get in touch and we'll see what we can do. 

DO I NEED TO ORDER WIHTIN A CERTAIN TIME?

Yes please! Brownies and biscuits will be baked within 48 hours of order. Muffin Trays require 7 days notice. Celebration and bUndt Cakes require 14 days notice. Please put the date of event / delivery or pick up on your order within the notes section.
